Marie Laveau

Every October, artists around the world take it upon themselves to draw something every day of the month; this is called the Inktober Initiative. In 2016, my best Inktober creation was of Marie Laveau, a historical practitioner of Voodoo. She was portrayed by Angela Bassett on the FX series American Horror Story, upon whom I modeled this illustration.
